I want to thank all of my dear friends out there for your continuous faith and support
in my work. Each one of you has a place in my heart, my meditations, and prayers.
I am daily sending light and love to you, whether you are aware of it or not.

I didn't want the holidays to pass without 'Touching Bases' with you.

Another year is around the corner, and let's try to strengthen our personal resolves to keep life as simple and as stress-free as possible. In the meantime, enjoy a loving and truly merry Christmas with your family and friends.

Consider... YOU. In all time before now and in all time to come, there has never been and will never be anyone just like you. You are unique in the entire history and future of the universe. Wow! Stop and think about that. You're better than one in a million, or a billion, or a gadzillion...
You are the only one like you in a sea of infinity!!!

You're amazing! You're awesome! (And by the way, TAG, you're it). As amazing and awesome as you already are, you can be even more so. Beautiful young people are the whimsey of nature, but beautiful old people are true works of art. But you don't become "beautiful" just by virtue of the aging process.

Real beauty comes from learning, growing, and loving in the ways of life. That is the Art of Life. You can learn slowly, and sometimes painfully, by just waiting for life to happen to you. Or you can choose to accelerate your growth and intentionally devour life and all it offers. You are the artist that paints your future with the brush of today.

God gives every bird its food, but He doesn't throw it into its nest. Wherever you want to go, whatever you want to do, it's truly up to you.

We all need someone at one time or another who cares enough to listen and help guide us throught the rough spots, without judging our decisions or mistakes. That's why I am here. To help you see where you've been, and to share with you what lies ahead for you.

Whether you celebrate Christmas or not,
it is my hope that you will be able to relate to the ideas below.

1. Before 2001 we were thinking about all the things we didn't have; this Christmas we are thinking about all the things we do have.

2. Before 2001 we were placing wreaths on the doors of our homes; this Christmas we are placing wreaths on the graves of our heroes.

3. Before 2001 we were letting our sons play with toy guns; this Christmas we are teaching them that guns are not toys.

4. Before 2001 we were counting our money; this Christmas we are counting our blessings.

5. Before 2001 we were lighting candles to decorate; this Christmas we are lighting candles to commemorate.

6. Before 2001 we paid lip service to the real meaning of the holidays; this Christmas we are paying homage to it.

7. Before 2001 we were digging deep into our bank accounts to find money to fly home for the holidays; this Christmas we are digging deep into our souls to find the courage to do so.

8. Before 2001 we were trying not to let annoying relatives get the best of us; this Christmas we are trying to give the best of ourselves to them.

9. Before 2001 we thought it was enough to celebrate the holidays; this Christmas we know we must also find ways to consecrate them.

10. Before 2001 we thought a man who could rush down a football field was a hero; this Christmas we know a man who rushes into a burning building is the real one.

11. Before 2001 we were thinking about the madness of the holidays; this Christmas we are thinking about the meaning of them. 12. Last Christmas we were getting on one another's nerves; this Christmas we are getting on our knees.

13. Before 2001 we giving thanks for gifts from stores; this Christmas we are giving thanks for gifts from GOD.

14. Before 2001 we were wondering how to give our children all the things that money can buy; this Christmas we are wondering how to give them all the things money can't (peace, security).

15. Before 2001 we were thinking about all the pressure we are under at the office; this Christmas we are thinking about all the people who no longer have an office to go to.

17. Before 2001 we were thinking how good it would feel to be affluent; this Christmas we are thinking how good it feels to be alive.

18. Before 2001 we thought angels were in heaven; this Christmas we know they are right here on earth.

19. Before 2001 we were contemplating all the changes we wanted to make in the new year; this Christmas we are contemplating all the changes we will have to make in this new reality.

20. Before 2001 we believed in the power of the pocketbook; this Christmas we believe in the power of prayer.

21. Before 2001 we were sharing / spreading / listening to gossip; this Christmas we are sharing / spreading and listening to the Gospel.

22. Before 2001 we were complaining about how much of our earnings went to taxes; this Christmas we comprehend that freedom isn't free.

23. Before 2001 we valued things that were costly; this Christmas we value things that are holy.

24. Before 2001 the people we idolized wore sports uniforms; this Christmas the people we idolize wear police, fire-fighter and military uniforms.

25. Before 2001, Peace On Earth is something we prayed for on Sunday morning; now it's something we pray for every day.

I love working with every one of you, and helping you on your path.
You know, when one helps others on their path, he is also helping himself on his own path.
